Welcome to Let’s Talk Dr's courses for international students. Running for over 6 years, we specialise in orthopaedic teaching and training services with an emphasis on the FRCS examination but also on MRCS, orthopaedics for medical students and registrar and consultant interview coaching.

Meet Dr Rishi Dhir

Course Tutor
MBChB BSc FRCS PGCERT

I’m Dr Rishi (MBChB BSc (hons) FRCS (orth) PGCERT), your course tutor. I currently work as a practising orthopaedic consultant and have a long standing background in education with training the trainers, a PGCERT and current PGDIP in medical education at Cambridge University but above all a wealth of practical experience with a fabulous track record of working with international students at all levels both virtually and face to face. In particular I have set up an international community of learning utilising principles and skills learned from a background on media, public speaking and coaching as well as my working experience. I have a unique ability to decode this difficult exam and simplify it into the most basic terms to help you sail through the exam.

Personally it has been the greatest gift to work with students around the world and mentor them , not only rewarding me by helping others who have become great colleagues and lifelong friends but the lessons it has taught me about different styles of learning, pathology patterns and unique techniques have made me a far better educator. I always believe in being approachable and going that step further for all my students.

Course Introductions

MRCS Part A Course:

Our newest course currently running is a 14 week course (with all sessions recorded so you can watch in your own time and join at any time) covering the entire MRCS syllabus including anatomy, physiology, pathology and clinical conditions with access to bespoke reading resources including notes for all the syllabus, practice questions and a WhatsApp mentor group where Dr Rishi personally mentors candidates. Think of it as a one stop shop for the part 1 exam.

Our Part A course is also now available pre-recorded and on-demand with unlimited access anywhere, anytime.

MRCS Part B Course:

A 3 day virtual live scan with all the stations covering the part 2 exam. It’s time to put all those principles into practice with great tutors showing you exactly how to score highly in the exam.

The Far East FRCS Blitz Course:

A face to face course run annually in Singapore this 3 day course covers every key case for the VIVAs and clinicals with model answers, personalised practice and feedback and pre course weekly mentoring on zoom and by WhatsApp groups to ensure you the best possible result. Ideal for students in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India and Australasia.

International FRCS Blitz Course:

A prerecorded virtual course covering all aspects of the VIVAs and clinicals for the orthopaedic FRCS part 2. A perfect finisher for the exam showing you how to score on every single question

UK FRCS Blitz Course:

A live hybrid course run three times a year but available for overseas students to attend virtually. Rated as the “perfect finishing course for part 2 and a must-attend” it covers all the VIVA and clinical questions with model answers, live grilling, a pre and post course mentor group and forum with personalised coaching and voice notes from Dr Rishi. Pass rates for the UK and international blitz attendees are over 95%.

Virtual Mock VIVA & Clinical FRCS Course:

A mock run through virtually under exam conditions with more practice than any other mock exam course, closely simulating the real exam and brilliant bespoke feedback from a range of top faculty including a second day to go through all the questions. This is for students within a few weeks of the final exam.

FRCS Tips & Tricks Course:

I always tell my students that oral exams in particular are 80% technique and 20% knowledge and this is something that my international students in particular have struggled with. Using unique techniques learned from my time in media and wealth of teaching experience this prerecorded course will give you a unique insight and tips to overcome any difficulties with the oral exam

FRCS On-Demand Videos:

A series of bite-sized videos with all the buzz words you need to cover the entire FRCS Orthopaedic syllabus. A must for the FRCS exam for both part 1 and 2.

FRCS Syllabus Course:

Students always say to me that the FRCS orthopaedics syllabus is so vast- where do I start. This is your answer! A series of 63 prerecorded lectures but all FRCS focused delivered by Dr Rishi and international reputed surgeons and educators it covers the entire syllabus and also gives you access to seminal papers, questions and can be thought of as the perfect 1-stop shop for the knowledge part of the exam.

Basic Science in Practice Course:

Delivered in a hybrid format (online or face to face) this is rated as the best basic science course and most realistic for the exam. It takes every basic science concept and turns it into a clinical case as it is examined. Also includes six months access to the basic science on demand videos.
